Beach Scene

Stuff needed to make it

1 package vanilla wafers--crush in food processor to make "sand."
Blue Kool-Aid type drink for "water."
Striped gum for "beach towels."
Peanuts in shell for "sunbathers."
Lifesaver-type candies.
Anything else to create a beach scene.

How to make the craft item

Give each kid a paper plate (or shoebox) to build their own beach scene on.
Then, give them some supplies, a couple of suggestions, and stand back and watch their imaginations soar!
If in a group, have the child make up a story to go along with their beach scene to tell everyone!
